Our Role
ISCC is a volunteer-led organization guided by Scottish Indian professionals. We focus on celebrating the rich cultural heritage of India's diverse communities to promote unity and social cohesion. By fostering greater integration, equal participation, and resilience within these communities, we aim to build a more inclusive and connected society. We believe that cultural heritage is a key driver in advancing active and equal citizenship.
Aims and Objectives
Cultural Heritage & Participation: Promote Indian cultural heritage as a pathway to active citizenship and equal participation, influencing policies and hosting cultural programs and exhibitions.
Community Cohesion & Engagement: Foster unity through democratic participation, art and culture education, and community development, encouraging voluntary involvement and diverse representation.
Equality & Diversity: Celebrate diversity, challenge hate crime, and enhance inclusivity by supporting participatory democracy and influencing policy to strengthen integration and community spirit.
